Decisive Operations is delighted to announce that Martyn Gibbons MBE agrees to join the team.
Martyn is an experienced leader who has been responsible for numbers of teams in highly complex pressurised situation. It was while leading one of these teams in Afghanistan that he earned his MBE. Following that work he was severly injured and now talks from the heart about the pain and challenges of a recovery which has taken over three years. Martyn is an inspiring speaker and personality whom we are pleased to have on board.

At the Sale Sharks 500 Club Christmas event, John Collicutt delivered a talk on what it takes to win. Drawing on his own experiences as an Executive Officer in the British Army, John highlighted the importance of strong leadership, responsibility across all people and deep personal belief, within an inspirational framework to a gathering of 200 including the Sharks and their coaching team.

John Collicutt led a workshop on "Working with Assumptions" at the Institute of Risk Management 2008 Risk Forum. Concentrating on one aspect of the operational planning discipline the workshop to 18 risk professionals highlighted the importance of understanding planning assumptions in developing forward strategies.
The workshop launched the catalogue of new training opportunities from Decisive Operations. In addition to the tailored training packages provided, these new opportunities will be presented at numbers of training events, allowing organisations the flexibility to send individuals and progressively build capacity.
