Protecting Data to unlock business potential - A Case Study

A re-structured business had grown rapidly over 18 months and with its growth, its ability to manage and leverage information and data had become critical. The speed of growth had unfortunately left it vulnerable as a manager of information endangering both its ability to deliver its service and its reputation with its clients.

Decisive Operations was invited in at short notice to conduct a data protection healthcheck to quantify the risk to the business and make a series of recommendations about how these risks could be managed.

What we actually produced was a series of recommendations and a corporate action plan to manage the risk and transition data management so that it became a strength to be highlighted, a real differentiator in a competitive business environment.

In seeing the opportunity and in understanding the path to move forward, we worked with the business to build their data management policy and processes, develop their training and improve their practices. On completion of this, the business was able to concentrate on delivering its services and develop its market, confident this critical function was operating smoothly.
