Aim: To understand the employment and application of Effects or Results Based Planning. It concentrates on three primary areas: understanding your situation; understanding what you have to do and why; identifying the key results required. During each stage of the training students will go into detail of, and practice, each question looking at additional techniques to further develop thinking and focus the results.
Objectives: By the end of the course the planners will be able to
- Clearly define the business task or mission.
- Identify key business effects/outcomes.
- Conduct improved multi-organisation/function operations.
- Identify critical business vulnerabilities and possible solutions.
- Lead effects based planning teams on return to the business.
Duration: Two days.
Numbers: 4 - 8.
Target Audience: This course is suitable for senior managers and leaders who need to expand their personnel skills base as they engage in operations involving multiple groupings and stakeholders.
